  • PVC
  • Vinyl
  • Polycarbonate (not forbidden, but will not cut)
  • Untested plastics

Hackaday made a handy post on identifying plastics for laser cutting though it should be noted that it does not cover a complete range of plastics that you might encounter (and try to laser). Acrylic, polycarbonate, and polystyrene are notable in their absence from the test. Other tests covering a broader range of plastics are described (but not in detail) by Make.
